Koh Phangan Snorkeling
Koh Phangan is well known for the full moon party but not
for having good snorkeling sites. The visibility is just like at Koh Samui and
the Angthong Marine Park for the most parts of the year quite poor. The best
places for snorkeling are said to be found around Koh Maa.
How to get there?
One way to go to Koh Phangan is by the public ferry boats.
I would recommend to plan for at least a two day trip. On a one day trip you’d
have only a few hours’ time due to the schedule of the ferries.
A nice alternative could be to go for of the sailing
trips or boat tours to Koh Phangan that include snorkeling. Because the snorkeling
is nothing special there are no operators running dedicated snorkeling trips.
